The Student Data Warehouse (SDW) is a secure, centralized, data repository that integrates data from various sources to empower faculty, staff, and students to make data-informed decisions. The SDW stores curated current and historical data in support of operational reporting, institutional analytics, and research.
Like any large and complex institution, UC Irvine has many sources of key institutional data that should be considered strategic University resources. These resources are in a wide variety of systems and formats. UCI is developing a centralized data warehouse where these resources can be brought together to inform strategic decision-making on campus in a manner that makes our institutional data consistently accessible, reliable, and secure.
